NOC Routing & Interconnect Test Specialist

Department: 24/7 Network Operations Center • Location: Work From Home (Remote) • Employment: Full-time

Conduct automated and manual test calls, verify 100% genuine CLI presentation, validate STIR/SHAKEN Level A certificates, perform SMS DLR audits, and benchmark audio MOS scores.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform automated and manual test calls across bilateral Tier-1 routes to verify 100% genuine Caller Line Identification (CLI).
• Validate cryptographic STIR/SHAKEN Level A attestation for US/Canada termination and international regulatory compliance.
• Generate and test Bulk SMS / OTP dispatches across mobile networks to measure delivery latency and handset receipts.
• Inspect SIP signaling traces using Wireshark and sngrep to verify SDP negotiation, audio codec integrity (G.711u/a, G.729, Opus), and DTMF transmission.
• Audit newly provisioned interconnect trunks and provide route qualification reports to the Sales and Rate teams.

Candidate Requirements

• 3+ years experience in wholesale carrier route testing, CLI verification, and VoIP/SMS quality assurance.
• Proficiency in SIP signaling analysis tools (Wireshark, sngrep, Homer, tcpdump).
• Knowledge of global regulatory frameworks: FCC STIR/SHAKEN, TRAI DLT, ARCEP, and European CLI guidelines.
• Familiarity with automated test call generators and SMPP test harnesses.
• Strong diagnostic skills with a meticulous eye for audio quality and signaling anomalies.
