Rate Deck & Pricing Operations Specialist

Manage end-to-end client & vendor wholesale rate decks: receive and parse incoming vendor pricing, calculate margins, send customer rate notifications, and upload/provision rate tables into the softswitch billing engine.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, parse, and validate incoming vendor rate decks across varied CSV, Excel, and automated portal formats.
• Audit destination dial-code mappings, effective dates, pulse tariffs (1/1, 60/60, 60/1), and minimum call durations.
• Upload, map, and provision vendor buy rates and customer sell rate decks into the Class 4 softswitch and billing system.
• Generate, format, and dispatch customized customer rate sheets and formal Price Increase / Decrease Notices (7/14-day advance notice).
• Perform continuous gross margin audits across destination prefixes to detect and prevent negative-margin routing.
• Reconcile code deck disputes, resolve dial-code mismatches, and assist billing analysts with rate verification during invoice cycles.

Candidate Requirements

• 3+ years of direct experience in wholesale telecommunications rate deck management, pricing operations, or LCR rating.
• Deep expertise in handling complex telecom rate files, code decks (ITU-T E.164 prefixes), and multi-currency pricing.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables, Macros) and SQL database queries.
• Familiarity with carrier billing systems, LCR engines, and softswitch rate upload workflows.
• Exceptional attention to numerical accuracy, strict deadline discipline, and strong communication skills with international carrier desks.
