Senior NOC Engineer – Wholesale SMS & SMPP
Department: SMS NOC Operations • Location: Remote • Employment: Full-time
Handle technical operations, SMPP bind surveillance, DLR tracking, and carrier technical troubleshooting for global SMS infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Surveil real-time SMPP bind health, TPS throughput, and delivery receipts (DLR).
- Investigate delivery failures, ESME status codes, and routing latency.
- Coordinate technical onboarding, IP whitelisting, and bind setup with carriers.
- Escalate complex protocol or route incidents and prepare NOC incident RCAs.
Candidate Requirements
- 4+ years in a Telecom NOC environment focused on SMS and SMPP protocol.
- Deep mastery of SMPP v3.4/v5.0, HTTP SMS APIs, Wireshark, and Linux tools.
